100wc Week 12

“BEEP, BEEP, BEEP”.  Ugh I groan in misery.  It’s monday morning.  A school day.  Leaping out of bed, quickly getting dressed, I hurried out of my bedroom to the kitchen.  I notice on my crisp white benchtop a lone sandwich, that poor poor sandwhich I feel I need it to have purpose so I well…  I ate it.  I now feel energetic, I feel learning hungry, wanting to absorb every bit of information my teacher speaks.  I arrive at the garage more awake than usual I hop into my parent's battery powered tesla.  I realise it was just a dream

100 WC Week 12

I allowed my lips to curl into a thin grin at the neon yellow electronic volts surging past the dulling advanced city of the year 3000 as a massive plain white sandwich meters tall probed with multiple grey tubes lay in the city center, a battery creating looming shadows crawling over the ground. This was definitely ready for the grim experiment of the year. Energetic citizens hurried past in electric - no petrol, it's bad -  vehicles to see the annual test and exceeding the speed limit. This was happening in a cold, dark July night. How fun.
Let's Begin.

What a Sandwich

Water sprayed my face as all turned to white, the sound of the phone's pinging battery cursed my ears as the energetic sandwich hurried away.

Now it is dark and I can finally see again I see the sandwich hiding under a dust bin. I launch my hands forward as the clamp onto the moldy rotting sandwich. My mouth is close to the fluffy white but moldy bread, my teeth chomp into it and then something like a gush of wind flows up my body just for a second while my body flails and flops down to the sandwichafied floor.

The light flickered in the dim room.
“The battery must be running out” muttered Tom to himself as he grabbed his coat, shoving his sandwich inside. He hurried to the door, but before been able to push it open was meet with a cry, followed by an energetic child running down the stairs.
“It’s snowed father. It’s snowed!” His face produced a smile bigger than what should be possible. “We can go sledding when you get back from work.” Tom turned back to the door, opening it onto a white wonderland, a faint smile tugged the corners of his mouth.

100 WC Week 12

One sunny, and joyful day in the lost valleys, with snowy white hills, happy people were walking around. Then, rumors had been spread around, amongst everyone that there was a secret sandwich hidden in the valleys that could give you powers. All the people hurried to find it. It was known that the sandwich was like a battery, it will fully charge you and you will never be tired. Everyone raced and zoomed around trying to find the secret power sandwich. Then suddenly the sandwich appeared, it was right, she was feeling very energetic!

The light flickered  furiously in our car as the  hurricane was   upon us,expected to be disastrous.Car swerving side to side with every movement of the wind “Are we going to be ok?”
White faced my brother Jamie replaced our old battery out of the torch.
Pulling up to our house I stepped  outside into the ‘war zone’. I quickly hurried  to the safety of our house like a battery powered jet pack, that was when  bread slices, butter and ham fell from out of space into our hands.  “Sandwiches anyone?”
my grandma gestures.

White. Endless, slow drifting snow. A perpetual abyss of cold; it swamps the land, coating this once evergreen land in snow. A bright orange jacket, sticks out like a sore thumb in this blinding white. It hurried towards me, leaving a trail of trampled snow behind. I turned, abandoning my pitiful shelter and shoved my frozen sandwich in my backpack; I began to run. My flashlight flickers, then dies, the battery is dead. I glanced back over my shoulder and stared at the figure, my heart raced like an energetic stallion, fighting for his life. It’s him..

100 WC - Week 12

I crouched down, holding my breath, leaning against the damp stone walls, I cautiously peered around the corner.  I suddenly felt that energetic rush of adrenaline I get every mission, as I saw the inventor rushing around his white lab. He ran around putting together his battery as he took a bite of a sandwich held in his hand and muttered to himself.  He was paranoid, looking around frantically, like he was expecting someone to jump out at  any second.
“Why is he so scared?” I wondered

Suddenly my gaze fell over a stack of folders, TOP SECRET it read. . . .

The power of a fresh salad sandwich

I was overworked, drained of all my energy. I collapsed, on the rugged park bench, work was tough at the moment, sale wasn’t great. I had been up all hours of the night for the past week, right now all I wanted was to enjoy my fresh salad sandwich, I had hurried to make it this morning, as I was in a rush, once again. The fluffy white  bread was battery charge to my brain, suddenly I was immensely energetic. I could feel the power pulsing through my veins, it is incredible, the power a fresh salad sandwich beholds.

I stirred my scrumptious stew as I added more delicious ingredients, I reached my boney white hand across my black cauldron and grabbed a rotten sandwich that was dripping with puss and hurried to slosh it all up into my stew. The next thing I added was a car battery to give the unfortunate drinker an energetic punch and leave them writhing on the floor hopelessly stuck in a quivering state never to see the outside world again. Left to die. Now I just need a victim to test my amazing concoction, time to get rid of that annoying brother, THOMAS!

100WC Week 12

My sandwich jumped out of my hands and back onto the its plate. Seconds later it hurried over to a random battery that was on the kitchen bench. God knows why it wanted to go over there. It sat there like it was staring at me. I walked over to the bench, I saw white mold  growing on the crust of the sandwich  suddenly i wasn't so keen to eat it. My little energetic sister ran in front of me and picked my awful rotting sandwich up, before she new it it had vanished with no crumbs left in site.

100 WC Week 12

A blizzard was upon us.  White, chunks of frozen rain hurried towards me.  My golden brown, waist length hair whipped like energetic party streamers.  I was chilled down to the bones, my battery was low, and I needed to refuel, ‘wouldn’t a sandwich and soup be nice?’ I thought to myself.  I dragged my frosted feet, that were hibernated in my soft brown uggs, to the warm arms of my house.  I snuggled down into a lush, comfy blanket, I sipped my soup, and relaxed.

As I hurried through the store I grabbed everything in my reach, a sandwich, batteries a carton of eggs, then rushed back to the lab, where my invention was stored, now all I had to do is power it with the random things I bought at the shop. I shoved all the items in the machine stood back behind a barrier. I was ready to make history but obviously, my invention wasn’t. I jumped around excited and energetic. Then I flicked the switch on, nothing happened…. I turned a pale shade of white.

100 WC week 12

It was a normal start of the weekend, saturday morning, I woke up at 9:00am as normal, the sun was shining like a great big bulb in the sky but then … I suddenly realized I had to go to the light shop to buy some white lights and a battery for the light, I rushed out of bed got dressed, ran into the kitchen grabbed a salad sandwich and energetic drink out of the very cold fridge and then hurried out of the house and into my baby blue honda, and drove to the probably very crowded shops.

“Ed...Edward hurry with that sandwich man”  “My god Clark, you need to learn some patience.  Anyway where's Seth he’s been gone and it’s nearly sundown, ‘apparently there's a blizzard coming, he’ll be caught in a white out soon. “Very true Ed, I’ll harness shushun up and get Olive, Battery and Daryl from the attic.”  Clark raced outside and raced the huskie in the lead.  Edward smirked as he watched the pitiful clark race off into the distance.  He turned energetically and hurried to the back room were he released Seth's gag and plunged a dagger into Seth's throat slicing his windpipe.  Edward grinned and glanced out the window were a saw a frozen body he laughed.  Clark had died.

The fateful sandwich died tragically because he was electrocuted by a battery that was very large. The battery was very energetic at the time so he had to let off some energy. Then the battery hurried over to the white paint and drowned suddenly. The police came the next day to investigate the crime scene. They found the dead battery so they put him on charge, they also found the shocked sandwich and they put him in the freezer. One week later it all happened again when they were both conscious. The infinite paradox happened till the end of time.

100wc Sasha week 12

Yesterday, after work I came home to find my adorable pet Sandwich Holly lying on the floor. She was out of battery. I picked her up and hurried to the charging station in the garage, hoping that I wasn’t too late. I placed her on the charger. Then left to make dinner. I came back to see if Holly had charged enough. I crouched down to wake her up . . . She leaped over me, looking very energetic. We ran outside and we played with her old,  white bone. That night the sky was coloured with the rainbow as the sun set.

100WC Week 12

I hurried around the tight corners. My luscious hair whipped onto my exhausted face. The chicken was half gone from my now lonely sandwich, due to how fast I was strutting! I am not the most energetic person so this is a very tough position for me. It was almost time. The clock was ticking. I was getting a feeling of blacking out like you can do in a rowing race but this time it wasn’t black it was white. I was still moving swiftly through the air. HAVE to get to that battery!

100 WC Week 12

I hurried over to my bag, I pulled out my sandwich it had white bread, lettuce, ham and mayonnaise. I felt it tumble down into my stomach. The whistle blew to signal me to go to the start line I ran over and I started to feel energetic I felt amazing, the sandwich acted like a battery. I erased this thought from my mind and waited for the clappers. "On your marks, get set go!" I raced down my line and easily overtook my competition before I knew what happened I crossed the line. I'd won, I'd finally done it!

100WC Week 12

I hurried down to the lounge. Mum had called my name to look at the BREAKING NEWS on the tele.

“BREAKING NEWS! Rags ‘sandwich’ Fly has been spotted by our nearest White Bread factory. He was spotted on the battery charged security cameras. We would like to advise everyone to stay away from this energetic sandwich thief. He has been known for wearing his stolen sandwiches and then giving them to stray dogs. Quite a weird concept here. We would like to know if anyone has any knowledge on this so called thief. Thankyou, please keep away from this thug.

100 WC Week 10

A midnight cover-up.

"Wow! Good work everyone, I can't believe we pulled it off." "Yes, but where will we hide a boat?" I ask. "Well, um maybe in the water?" Mike replies. "Wow that's such a great idea, no-one will find it there." I snap back, sarcastically. I look out of the window of our blacked out ute, to see an abandoned warehouse. "How about in there," I ask pointing to the dishevelled, corrugated iron-clad shed. "Hey, that might do!"

Under the cover of a dark, windy night, we approach the abandoned warehouse. The ute comes to a stop and the cover-up begins.

“Lemoosae, we have a problem!”
Lemoosae twisted around, a huge pair of scissors in hand,
“Allertish, Honey, how many times have I told you….I know we have a problem!”  Allertish blushed “well. ...I thought I might….Remind you”  Lemoosae turned and plugged a screaming razor into the outlet.  Allertish grimaced and clutched the wrists of a petrified young lady, pinning her to the barber chair.  A harsh thundering buzz and a peircing scream filled the air.  A pile of raven black, silky hair fell to the floor.  Allertish eyed the pile wearily,

“Lemoosae...where will we hide all this?”

My sock covered feet, silently creep down the hallway, stopping outside a solid wooden door. I press my ear to the door. Listening. A muffled voice slips out from underneath the door. My body freezes as shadows appear from the crack at the bottom of the door, painstakingly slow they move away and I let out the breath that I'd been holding for the past minute.
"Yes, mmhh, I know" The voice pauses, listening to someone on the other end of the telephone.

"But where would we hide it?"

100WC - Week 10

I knew they were coming, I could hear their shoes marching closer to the hiding spot. At that moment, regret entered my head, a flashback led me to when I finally persuaded my wife to keep the gold “But where will we hide it?”, instead of giving it to the King as we were commanded so. I thought I knew what I was doing  but I guess not. Before I knew it I was being dragged out of the tree and the gold slipped from my grip. All I could think about was… what was going to happen next?

"They're invading France, they will find this soon enough. Where would we hide it all?"

"Is under the bed -"

"It's too obvious."

I pluck up an ancient velvet box and stalk over to a laundry basket stuffed with fading clothes worn from work, find a rusty key. Then striding over to the white painted closet I open it with the key, there lay a gleaming safe.
"Here."

"Why did we even play candy grab?" I grumbled. “You're right, it only caused us more complications, how are we supposed to hide it all anyway?” she responded. They had both won a game, which gave them both to many luscious sweets! Then it suddenly occurred to me, we both had a terrifying dentist checkup. “Ahhh” we both squealed. The super sweet candy was too much to handle..
My mouth was watering by just staring at it, I was waiting like a lion for it’s prey. In one large gobble the candy in my hand had disappeared into thin air!

"But where should we hide them all"
I whispered worriedly to Ava.
"That's a good question indeed"
I began to think of all the possible places two 12 year old girls could hide 5 mystical creatures that no one has ever seen or heard of before. How about the park. No it's to public, maybe the dump yard. "That's it Ava"
I shrieked.
"That's what?"
"That's where we should hide them all, the dump yard. No one really goes there so it's the perfect place to hide 5 mystical monsters."
"Good thinking Sasha, we should hurry though I think someones coming."

It looked small and pitiful standing there in the alley. It’s skin clinging to it’s ribs, big eyes staring upwards. We had no need to question what we were about to do. Take it home, give it food. But now, the question we’d both been thinking appeared.
“But where are we going to hide it?”
That’s the problem, my family has a strict no pets rule.

I held the gold in my hands, frantically looking for a hiding spot to conceal it from my greedy teachers.  I can’t believe it!  I’ve found the treasure that students and teachers had been looking for, for decades!

I continued searching the halls, they were deserted, everyone was stuck in lessons.  I had snuck out, determined to find a place to stash it before sneaking it home at the end of school.  I turned the corner and was faced with the basement keys, hanging in the lock, unguarded.  I pondered for a second, then hearing footsteps nearing, lunged for them.

“But where will we hide it all?” she cried.
“What sort of stupid question is that?” I spat back. “How can we possibly hide a planet?”

This was most certainly a conversation that I never imagined I would have, however as the Aliens systematically destroyed every planet in the Solar System it seemed, for some reason, an excellent question to ask.

Thinking more on the topic I began to wonder if we could somehow shrink the Earth into a marble sized object and hide it in my pocket. But if the Earth was in my pocket...then where was I?
